Sample .abook files

Free, public-domain classics packaged as example .abook files — each one a complete book with word-level audio↔text read-along. Download one and open it in the in-browser viewer, the Abookify app, or the abook CLI. The set spans three narration types:

Every item uses public-domain text (Project Gutenberg). All synthetic narration is clearly labeled — no quality claims are made versus human narrators. Each download includes its full attribution & license. The three Call of the Wild entries are a deliberate comparison on the same book — a human reader, a neural TTS, and our own Kokoro narration.

More titles are added as they finish processing. Files are hosted as GitHub release assets on the open-source abookify-server repo.
